Would this car seat work okay for a boy?

I am planning on buying a replacement cover for my car seat directly from graco, I am having a different gender so I need a print that will work for a boy. This is one of the suggestions they gave me, my question is would this be okay for a boy to use or would you find something else?

I forgot to say the cover I have now is pink, ( i had a girl the first time) and I do not want a pink cover for a boy which is why I am buying another.

I really like that cover! I would definitely use that for a boy, I wouldn’t use it for a girl.

After some consideration (from a males perspective) I feel the covering on the seat is ok for a boy color wise. Save yourself some money and leave the covering as is, unless covering is damaged.

I think it’s a very nice cover, haven’t seen that one before!
    Congratulations.

Question what about the stroller? Just wondering if you had a travel system.

That would be fine. But it’s totally up to you. If you like it then go for it. If not then don’t.

Yes, I think that cover would work well for a boy or a girl.

As for me – I would go with whatever I’ve got – with my first pregnancy I was offered a pink baby gym, and even though I knew I was having a boy I said ‘yes’!, we bought pink bibs at one point, because that’s all we could get in town, and when sent to get dummies, DH came back with a pink one, and our son has a pink sippy cup as, again, it was the only colour I could get at the time.

The blue for boys and pink for girls convention is a relatively new one, and one that I dislike – why should all ‘home maker’ toys be pink (tea-sets, Hoovers, toasters, doll buggies, doll house furniture all seem to be in pink) when men are just as likely to use these things as women?
